Even the most ordinary of items can have a bit of style. I wanted to share my favourite mugs. For me, these are unique, cute, striking, original and stylish.
Shop ‘til he drops mug
Because which fashionista among you doesn’t love a shopping day out? This one is my ultimate favourite mug. The fashionable shopper has a beautiful hat and long black dress. It reminds me of the Rodeo Drive shopping scene in Pretty Woman.
Marilyn Monroe mug
She is one of my style icons and what a lovely way to inject some glamour to the start of my day. I love that it’s a black and white design because the monochrome look is so chic and looks great in my kitchen.
Bubblicious mug
I like this mug’s ‘Time to Sparkle’ motto because when is there a time not to? Champagne and chocolate go so well together. My favourite is rose champagne, because I love the colour. I’m a romantic and when I was in my early teens, I saw the film An Affair to Remember where the main character drinks pink champagne. I said to myself that when I grew up that’s what I would drink.
Le Boutique mug
I lived in Paris for a year and still go back often to shop and experience the art and sophistication. I love getting clothes that look original and stand out when I wear them in London.
Coffee lover’s mug
For a tall hot drink of cocoa beans. Again, in black and white this is a stylish simple design that’s perfect for coffee lovers.
Monochrome motifs mug
The swirly curls are so pretty and it’s an artistic design. I’m a big art lover so I adore this.
Libra mug
Libra is my star sign and it’s lovely to sip from a mug of a morning describing my sign’s best qualities. Everyone should have something personal or uplifting. Works better as a pick me up than expresso for me.
Owl mug
Again a personal one for me. I’ve always loved owls, they have long been a symbol of wisdom and learning. It’s not just the like the owl’s eyes are looking right back at me, but that it has a layered feeling when I hold it.
The ‘If you can’t stop thinking about it…BUY IT’ mug
This is one of my shopping mottos. While I’m a disciplined shopper and avoid buying on impulse, if you’re anything like me, you can still remember that one special find you regret not buying at the time. Unless something is unnecessary, impractical or over budget, I think it’s important not to miss out on something worthwhile if you really want it and you know that you will enjoy it for many years to come.

I think this is such a cute mug. It’s great for a morning pick-me-up as it’s so cheerful and bright. Check out her little purse and lime green boots! I don’t go shopping that often so when I do, I’m definitely a ‘happy shopper’ just browsing around vintage fashion shops.
